I’m so excited that it’s time for my second net worth report!
When setting up my Personal Capital account last month, I told myself I am not going to become obsessed and check out my net worth every day, and I am happy to say that this is my first time logging in since I compiled July’s report.
[NOTE: Personal Capital is free and only takes a few minutes to set up. You can choose to link your financial accounts, which saves you the hassle of updating yet another spreadsheet. Using this link to set up an account is free for you while providing me with a small commission that helps keep my site running.]
Below, I list the current value of my assets, minus my liability, to equal my net worth.
+ Assets: $231,767
- Cash: $13,318.98
- Investments: $68,625.30
- Cars & Motorcycle: $7,591.00
- Home (Zestimate*): $142,232.00
*A Zestimate® home valuation is Zillow’s estimated market value and is not an appraisal. It is designed to be used as a starting point when determining a home’s value. Keep this in mind if choosing to enable this feature to add your home’s value to your Personal Capital account.
– Liabilities: $29,282
- Mortgage: $29,282.82
= Net Worth: $202,484.46 (+$8,002.90 from last month)
That’s it, guys! I hope you’re also putting in measures to ensure your net worth continues to rise, whether through investments, paying off debt, or a mix of both.
