Wow, March 15 really snuck up on me. It feels like just yesterday that I was just adding up last month’s numbers.

The arrival of spring is just five days away, and as East Tennessee is being splashed with varying shades of pinks, whites, yellows and light greens, it is time for another net worth report.

I have been tracking our net worth since July 2017, and this is our second report with absolutely no debt since paying off our home at the end of January.

It’s pretty awesome seeing nothing but assets when I log into our Personal Capital account now.

Below are the assets that add up to our current net worth:

  • Cash: $7,121.02
  • Investments: $77,903.99
  • House: $144,000.00
  • Vehicles: $7,989.00
Net Worth: $237,014 (+$3,942 from last month)

I actually wasn’t sure if we would see much of an increase this month since we have been spending so much money on our upcoming trip to Russia to attend the FIFA World Cup, but I’m happy to see that it still went up by almost $4,000!

We’re inching closer and closer each month to becoming quarter-millionaires. That milestone should definitely be met early in the second half of the year.

If you’re not tracking your net worth at least a couple times per year, I urge you to check out Personal Capital. It’s a free and simple app that gives you the option to connect your financial accounts – bank accounts, 401K, mortgage, etc. –  so that your net worth is automatically updated shortly after logging in.
